Quality Care You Can Count On
My aim is to raise awareness and silence the stigma around mental health. I have substantial experience of working therapeutically with individuals and groups across a wide range of clinical settings in the NHS and private sectors; I offer consultative mental health seminars, workshops and group/individual sessions, tailored to the unique needs of the individual or corporation. I seek to deliver an excellent level of service to my clients - with treatment aiming to facilitate a journey of personal empowerment, holistic well-being and authentic communication.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
I work as a private consultative psychotherapist and as a locum within the NHS. Alongside my clinical work, I lecture in psychotherapy to undergraduate level and run a range of mental health workshops and seminars in corporate settings.

I also have many years experience working within palliative care - providing psychological support to patients and carers through treatment, terminal illness and bereavement. I have delivered a series of training workshops within the NHS, covering the impact of long term health physical health conditions upon psychological wellbeing.

HOW LONG DOES THERAPY TAKE?
This is a good question. There is no set answer. I can work within a set time frame according to your own needs and preferences, or therapy can be open ended with regular reviews and space to explore your feelings about the process.
DO SESSIONS HAVE TO BE IN PERSON?
Sessions can be face-to-face from my private consultation room in Farnham, over the phone or via video-call through a secure platform.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
From the point of your enquiry, we can arrange a time to have an initial, free of charge conversation to discuss your presenting needs. Your first psychotherapy session will include a thorough risk assessment and formulation of a treatment plan.
HOW DOES TALKING THERAPY WORK?
We have an innate need to tell our story; sometimes life may feel overwhelming due to a specific trauma, or an on-going sense of inner tension/unease that is hard to explain or understand. Research has proven that exploring and re-processing these feelings in a genuine and confidential therapeutic space can shift and adapt critical neural networks - leading to a more authentic, positive and fulfilled way of being.
