HOW LONG DOES THERAPY TAKE?
This is a good question. There is no set answer. I can work within a set time frame according to your own needs and preferences, or therapy can be open ended with regular reviews and space to explore your feelings about the process.
DO SESSIONS HAVE TO BE IN PERSON?
Sessions can be face-to-face from my private consultation room in Farnham, over the phone or via video-call through a secure platform.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
From the point of your enquiry, we can arrange a time to have an initial, free of charge conversation to discuss your presenting needs. Your first psychotherapy session will include a thorough risk assessment and formulation of a treatment plan.
HOW DOES TALKING THERAPY WORK?
We have an innate need to tell our story; sometimes life may feel overwhelming due to a specific trauma, or an on-going sense of inner tension/unease that is hard to explain or understand. Research has proven that exploring and re-processing these feelings in a genuine and confidential therapeutic space can shift and adapt critical neural networks - leading to a more authentic, positive and fulfilled way of being.
